Holy Spirit Primary School, Carnes Hill opened in 2002 and will have an enrolment of 220 in 2005 ranging from K to 5. It is situated 5 minutes from exit 89 on the M5 near Liverpool. It will grow to a population of approximately 600 children in three streams.
We are excitedly planning for our permanent buildings, and hope to begin Stage 1 in the near future. Our new structure will be contemporary, catering for education both now and in the future. Our school is established around community. The vibrance and energy of our people is uplifting and energising. Teachers working in our school are driven by their love for the children and their faith, and openly show their passion and commitment to the children, their families and each other. We are proud of our beautiful new school and, even though we have a relatively short story, we eagerly welcome new students, teachers and families to join us and add to our chapters.
Our staff come together in relationships. Nothing is more vital and central to our teaching and learning. Teachers bring their whole selves to this workplace and their needs, ideas, hopes and dreams form the basis of our learning community. We pray that as we grow, others will be drawn to be with us as together we continue to educate the children in their God and in their world.
