St John Vianney Primary School is a two stream K-6 school for boys and girls, dating from the 1960s. Our school, with its modern buildings and spacious grassy playground, is located in a pleasant suburban environment and caters for families from different cultural backgrounds. Our enrolment is around 370, with 29 staff. Children, parents and staff all contribute to the school’s friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
St John Vianney’s has a high reputation in the local community for its attention to academic learning and good discipline. We believe that good teachers are the key to a quality education. All our staff are friendly, committed and highly motivated, and love working at our school. Professional development for teachers is a priority, with teachers seeing themselves as learners too. Beginning teachers are supported and assisted in developing their skills, and soon feel part of a cohesive team.
Our children love coming to school each day. Teachers encourage their students to develop tolerance, self-respect and self-discipline, and to contribute to a happy school environment by caring for their surroundings and for each other.
