St Joseph’s Primary School at Moorebank is a two-stream co-educational school situated close to Liverpool and Holsworthy railway stations, and a few minutes from the M5 Motorway.
St Joseph’s school was first opened in 1975 with 27 Kindergarten students. Since then, the enrolment total has grown to 427 students in 2003.
During 2002, there was a major capital development program, which provided new and refurbished buildings for staff and students. This will help us address the current and emerging needs of education for the new millennium.
In 2002, our school went through the School Review and Development process, including an Educational Audit. This process highlighted the Catholic foundations of the school, the commitment of the school to nurturing a real sense of partnership with parents, clergy and the wider community, and the welcoming atmosphere of the school.
It also confirmed the commitment of staff to providing quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of all our students.
St Joseph’s school is a family-friendly, fun place to be, where talent is recognised and initiative is rewarded.
