Sacred Heart Primary is a small, one-stream Primary school with a committed and highly enthusiastic staff.
The faith and missionary spirit of Blessed Mary MacKillop continue to inspire the school community. With the passing of time, the climate of the school has developed into a successful multicultural environment, enriched by shared cultural beliefs and traditions.
Developing literacy is given a high priority and teachers are supported by specialist programs in ESL, Reading Recovery and Special Education, including Gifted and Talented programs.
Catholic doctrine and values form an important part of the curriculum. Up-to-date resources and technology support the teaching in all Key Learning Areas.
In 2003 we began a comprehensive building project which will provide totally new facilities including classrooms, library, office and administration, staff and meeting rooms, technology infrastructure and school furnishings.
