The Catholic Education System in the Diocese of Armidale is vibrant and dynamic. There are twenty four systemic Catholic Schools catering for 5,200 students. The teaching 'team' of over 300 teachers is dedicated to excellence in teaching learning and encouraging children to achieve their potential at each stage of schooling. The system is under the jurisdiction of the Bishop of Armidale, Bishop Luc Matthys and administered by the Catholic Schools Office based in Armidale. The Director of Catholic Schools is Mr Rick Johnston.
