The Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Broken Bay supports the work of school principals and staff, parents and Parish priests in providing quality education to students from Kindergarten to Year 12 living in the northern suburbs of Sydney and the Central Coast of New South Wales.

Education Officer- Curriculum, Teaching and Learning K - 12
Consistent with the emerging national agenda and diocesan strategic directions in school improvement K-12, the Director of Schools invites applications for the above position, from suitably qualified and experienced educators who can demonstrate an understanding and commitment to the mission of Catholic Education. This position requires a person with recent successful teaching experience and significant expertise in curriculum and pedagogy to support teaching and learning across the school system, predominantly in secondary schools.
Key Accountabilities
The key accountabilities of this role are to:
• Provide expert support to schools in curriculum, teaching and learning, particularly in secondary schools
• Support school and system initiatives in response to the implementation of the national education agenda
• Contribute to and evaluate system initiatives that focus on quality assurance and school improvement
• Use evidence-based approaches to support schools in improving teacher quality, particularly in the area of professional learning.
