St Patrick’s Catholic School, Asquith was established in 1958 by the Sisters of Mercy. The school is situated in close proximity to the Asquith railway station on the outskirts of Sydney’s north. The school has a current enrolment of 281 students.

Classroom Teacher permanent full-time
SPECIFIC CRITERIA

• Highly proficient in 21st century digital pedagogy with a proven capacity to implement ICLT across the curriculum for learners.

• Sound knowledge of instructional , intervention and assessment strategies for Literacy and Numeracy.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the impact on formal assessment processes to inform differentiated and individual learning including NAPLAN analysis experience.

• Outstanding inter-personal skills to work closely with staff in catering for student needs and as part of a well defined professional learning culture.

• Excellent understanding and capacity to articulate and implement instructional strategies in Literacy & Numeracy.

• Sound and contemporary knowledge in catering for a diverse range of learners in the classroom through varied teaching strategies and sound pedagogical principles.

• Commitment to working collaboratively with other staff members and parents both within the classroom and across the school.
