The Executive Director of Catholic Schools invites applications for the following positions from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to take forward with commitment and enthusiasm the Mission of Catholic Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney:
TEACHER EDUCATORS
(2 YEAR SCHOOL-BASED POSITIONS)*
These positions are being established to provide leadership for the professional development, support and advice to teachers in the implementation of initiatives relating to Teaching and Learning emerging from the National Partnership Agreements.
These positions will be based at the following schools:

CRITERIA INCLUDE:
• Strong and active commitment to the mission of Catholic Education
• At least 8 years teaching experience
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in leadership of Curriculum
• Demonstrated capacity to support School Improvement Processes
• Demonstrated deep understanding of contemporary pedagogy
• Demonstrated capacity in the use of technology to support contemporary Teaching and Learning
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to engage with key stakeholders
• Skills and experience in facilitating professional development for teachers
Ideally, the successful applicants will have post-graduate qualifications relevant to Catholic School Leadership.
* A secondment could be negotiated for applicants from Sydney Catholic Systemic Schools.
This is a two-year appointment with a further two (2) years negotiable.
