St Philip Neri Catholic School, Northbridge was established in 1925 and the Sisters of St Joseph were the school's founding order. The school is situated on the lower north shore and has a current enrolment of 194 students.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced teachers who are committed to the ethos of the Catholic School and to excellence in teaching and learning for the following position:
Learning Support Teacher temporary part-time 0.2FTE
Specific Criteria
• Support class teachers by sharing knowledge and expertise about inclusive teaching strategies and resources to support students with special needs
• Assess and diagnose student difficulties
• Monitor student progress and evaluate learning outcomes
• Collaboratively develop education programs for individual students and small groups
• Administer and interpret diagnostic/standardised assessments for individual students or whole school
• Facilitate referral and assessment procedures with CSO Education Officer after consultation with Princi[pal, teachers and parents
• Liaise with Learning Support Assistant
• Develop programs for and supervising the Learning Support Assistant
• Liaise with the Principal
• Work collaboratively with the School Community
• Work as an enthusiastic member of a team
