Head of Outdoor Education
12 month contract position – Full time 1.0 FTE
Commencing Term 1, 2010 (or by negotiation)

Outdoor Education at St Peter's College is incorporated into the curriculum from Year 4 to Year 10 and, through the Exploration Society, forms part of the co-curricular program for students in Years 8-12. Selected Year 11 students are given leadership opportunities assisting with the Year 9 and 10 camps. The School\'s purpose-built Outdoor Education Centre is situated 80 kms from Adelaide on the Finniss River.

The Head of Outdoor Education is responsible for both the overall organisation and supervision of the Outdoor Education Program and, overseeing the general maintenance and smooth running of the Outdoor Education facility.

Applicants must posses appropriate qualifications and proven experience in the teaching and management of Outdoor Education and hold a current Bus Driving Licence and a current Senior First Aid Certificate or equivalent.

Accomodation provided by negotiation and salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience.
