Loreto Toorak is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Technician to provide excellent audio visual services and technical support to stakeholders across the School in response to requests for assistance for events, presentations, productions and performances. This is a full time ongoing role.

Our academic, cultural, sporting and pastoral programs are all integral to the holistic education of our students. </p><p>We aim to produce young women who are well educated, well-informed and able to thrive in a fast changing world; young women who have a strong personal interest in actively shaping a positive future for their community, be it local, national or global. </p><p><b>The position </b></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Technician to provide excellent audio visual services and technical support to stakeholders across the School in response to requests for assistance for events, presentations, productions and performances. This is a full time ongoing role. </p><p>In addition to the primary role, the AV Technician will also be responsible for managing the School’s audio visual equipment and resources including finding pragmatic solutions to stakeholder design and technical requirements. The role will also work with internal and external stakeholders to support the creation of digital media assets and content such as presentations, videos and photography. </p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>The successful candidate will have: </p><ul><li>Previous experience as an AV Technician with a deep working knowledge of audio visual presentation equipment and a general knowledge of computer systems, networks and equipment. </li><li>A Certificate IV or higher relevant qualification in an audio visual field (highly regarded) </li><li>Demonstrated experience in sound reproduction, theatre lighting and with various display/projection systems coupled with developing co-curricular programs supporting audio visual learning outcomes for students (desirable) </li><li>Capacity to attend and work after-hours at events including on weekends as required </li><li>A current Working with Children Check (employee) </li></ul><p><b>Why work at Loreto Toorak? </b></p><p>Joining Loreto Toorak means joining a supportive, inclusive and collaborative community.
