<p>Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School is a proudly open entry school in Melbourne, affiliated with the Anglican Church and providing a personalised education from the Early Learning Centre (Three-Year-Old) through to Year 12. </p><p>With over 120 years of history, Ivanhoe Girls’ is an inclusive learning community where the individuality of every student is known, accepted, valued, and respected. The school supports each student to discover and build upon their individual talents, fostering their confidence to become articulate, courageous, critical thinkers, with a lifelong love of learning, who are generous of spirit and who have a voice to use in making a positive contribution to their wider community. </p><p>The Head of Learning Enhancement is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of the learning enhancement strategy across the whole school (P-12). </p><p>The Head of Learning Enhancement leads a team who monitor students’ personalised learning needs (including talent development and extension), supports staff to effectively develop and implement differentiated curriculum and teaching practices, and has operational responsibility in the Senior School. </p><p>The successful candidate is a/an: </p><ul><li>pedagogical leader of learning enhancement, who confidently role models excellence in teaching strategies and curriculum differentiation </li><li>qualified expert in learning enhancement, familiar with the relevant legislative / regulatory frameworks as well as the latest research, policy initiatives or emerging trends </li><li>experienced leader of staff who develops, implements, administers and coordinates protocols, policies, processes, templates and all documentation relating to learning enhancement (including but not limited to for Individualised Learning Plans, academic tracking and NCCD data collection) </li><li>skilled communicator who effectively advocates for the needs of students and facilitates professional learning that augments understanding of technically complex information and informs inclusion and equity strategy </li></ul><p>This position is part of the Curriculum and Learning Team and is offered as an ongoing teaching position with a four-year promotional contract starting on 15 July, 2024 (or as negotiated).
