Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School, Carnes Hill, is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and collaborative teacher to develop, coordinate and enhance the school's programs, pedagogy and processes in the Newman Selective Gifted Education Program. The focus of the role will be the coordination of Gifted Education and Newman facilitation.

We focus on enabling a quality preschool to post-school learning journey for every child, supported by a team of dedicated educators and caregivers.</p><p>In addition, we offer:</p><ul><li>a competitive salary of $85,000-$122,100 per annum plus superannuation</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>flexible working arrangements</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><b>About you</b></p><p>As a Gifted Education/Newman Facilitator, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.</p><p><b>To excel in this role, you will be able to:</b></p><ul><li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of student </li><li>have a sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies</li><li>utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li><li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li><li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li><li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li><li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.</li></ul><p><b>The role includes:</b><br /></p><ul><li>Developing policies and procedures to ensure the effective identification and selection of, and provision for, gifted students</li><li>Collaborating with classroom teachers to develop, implement and review learning adjustments and differentiated plans for students</li><li>Establishing and implementing processes for professional learning of staff.</li><li>Facilitating the collection and monitoring of required evidence and achievement data to maintain Newman accreditation</li><li>Conferring with the Leadership Team regarding strategies and resources to enhance the gifted education program</li><li>Coordinating the development of special projects or activities and events that provide opportunities for children to be extended/enriched</li><li>Participating in deliberations on the learning needs of identified students</li><li>Coordinating the annual Newman Learning Symposium</li></ul><p><b>Relevant qualifications and proven experience in classroom teaching are essential.
