Students with complex intellectual and developmental disabilities may benefit from a highly personalised program, smaller class sizes and the additional support provided in a SCS Specialist Support Class located within a mainstream school setting.<br /></p><p> </p><p>In 2022, Good Samaritan Catholic College Hinchinbrook began operating Sydney Catholic Schools first secondary Specialist Support Class, for students with moderate intellectual disabilities. Students enrolled in these classes benefit from highly skilled Special Education teachers, contemporary technology and quality resources whilst being active and valued members of our school community. The curriculum is personalised, integrated and collaborative and builds the capabilities of all students.
