We are currently seeking a School Support Officer - Workplace Trainer to support our Post School Options team.

<p><b>Location: </b>Aengus Kavanagh Centre, Mt Druitt NSW,Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese</p><p dir="ltr">We are currently seeking a <strong>School Support Officer - Workplace Trainer</strong> to support our Post School Options team.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">The successful applicant will support students with their transition to post school providers by:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Implement skill training and vocational skills by building the capacity of school personnel to upskill students and staff;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide direct supervision, guidance and modelling of tasks to support students;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Create resources to support specific skill training and/or work experience;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Utilise assistive technology effectively to support staff and student learning;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Undertake data and evidence collection and analysis;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Engage suitable employers/community based organisations;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Complete administrative tasks as required;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Participate in training and professional learning as required;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide physical assistance where needed and/or personal care to students.</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Certificate III or IV in Education Support and experience in schools;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Valid Working with Children Check;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Compliance with CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct.</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.</p> <p dir="ltr">CSPD promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
