<p style="text-align: justify;">A newly created position has become available for an ICT Manager to join our team.&nbsp; The ICT Manager is responsible for ensuring the ICT systems and services are aligned with and service the current and projected needs of Trinity Lutheran College. The position focuses heavily on planning, strategies, co-ordination, design, advice and guidance in ICT technologies.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Key duties and responsibilities will include</strong>:</p> <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li>Provide strategic advice to the college&rsquo;s Principal, Business Manager and Heads of Campus to ensure alignment with the IT strategic plan</li> <li>Manage IT infrastructure projects ensuring schedules and timeframes are adhered to</li> <li>Manage all network infrastructure components</li> <li>Demonstrable fault-finding and troubleshooting skills for all components of the college&rsquo;s network (servers, desktops, printers, communications equipment)</li> <li>Implement, maintain and troubleshoot multi-protocol LAN&rsquo;s</li> <li>Manage all components of the security architecture (firewall etc.)</li> <li>Provide leadership in a field of technical expertise and manage a team specialising in an IT discipline</li> <li>Develop strategies and plans for the provision of the relevant technologies or projects and co-ordinate their delivery</li> <li>Provide expertise, advice and guidance to the Principal, Business Manager and Heads of Campus on the provision of technologies relevant to the delivery of projects, specialist products and services to support the college&rsquo;s information technology needs</li> <li>Investigate new technology solutions to meet the business needs of Trinity Lutheran College</li> <li>Working in collaboration with the Director of ICT to position the college at the leading edge in the use of technologies for teaching and learning</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Selection criteria:</strong></p> <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li>Possession of a degree with a major in computing or engineering, or post graduate qualifications in computing or engineering.&nbsp; Alternatively, other qualifications, skills and knowledge which are deemed equivalent</li> <li>Three to five years&rsquo; experience in the management of both large and small scale computer networks</li> <li>Proven managerial ability within an IT environment.&nbsp; Including the allocation of responsibilities, review of performance, training and development of staff and development or oversight of program procedures and quality control systems</li> <li>Expert knowledge of both current and emerging technologies, standards and services relevant to the area of specialisation</li> <li>Well-developed capacity for critical, conceptual and reflective thinking, and multifaceted problem solving skills</li> <li>Well-developed skills in research, evaluation and interpretation of data</li> <li>Excellent written and spoken communication skills</li> <li>Be able to support the Christian ethos of the college</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">To obtain a copy of the position description or for further information about our college please visit our website: <a href="http://www.tlc.qld.edu.au/">www.tlc.qld.edu.au</a> and follow the prompts to the employment section.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Applications with covering letter and resume, including a copy of relevant qualifications names and contact details of three referees are to be emailed to <a href="mailto:careers@tlc.qld.edu.au">careers@tlc.qld.edu.au</a></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p align="center">Trinity Lutheran College is an equal opportunity employer</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
