<p>We are seeking a Head of Campus K to 5 to join our Early and Junior Years campus.&nbsp; The Head of Campus K to 5 is a member of the college&rsquo;s Senior Executive and College Executive teams.&nbsp; We are seeking an experienced Christian educator with the vision, commitment and skills for effective leadership and management of our Early and Junior Years campus in a manner which upholds and promotes its ethos and the educational objectives of the college.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Overview of the position:</strong></p> <p>The Head of Campus is the key person in setting and advancing school culture, climate and effectiveness, academic success and tone, pastoral and behavioural tone and climate, and the appearance and appropriateness of campus facilities and resources.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful candidate will have a record of success in organisational and educational leadership at a senior level with a strong understanding of International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and Lutheran education and in achieving agreed goals in collaboration with others.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Selection criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>An active Christian faith and worldview which is reflected in the relationships and professional practice of the applicant; a sound understanding of the ethos which underpins a Lutheran school and the practices which stem from it</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Capacity for leadership and management of an educational administration team, of a large team of teaching and non-teaching staff, and of the student body</li> <li>Organisational and administrative capacities, including: management of all campus programs; dealing with emergencies; shaping and managing budgets; competencies and skills for the effective and productive use of ICTs, for communication purposes, for managing all aspects of campus programs, and for leadership in teaching and learning</li> <li>Ability to inspire and engage students in willing support of the college ethos and expectations in all aspects of campus life, as evident for example in assemblies, events, classroom and co-curricular relationship</li> <li>Ability to relate effectively with parents and other stakeholders; capacity to engender public support for and confidence in the college, including change initiative</li> <li>As instructional leader, the ability to lead a team which is creating best/innovative practice in curriculum, teaching, learning, assessmentand reporting, and which is achieving ongoing improvement in student learning outcomes in areas of strategic and educational priority</li> <li>An excellent command of oral, written and IT communication skills</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: center;">The application pack including the position description is available on the college website at <a href="http://www.tlc.qld.edu.au/our-school/employment">www.tlc.qld.edu.au/our-school/employment</a></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p style="text-align: center;">Please email applications by the closing date to the Principal at <a href="mailto:principal@tlc.qld.edu.au">principal@tlc.qld.edu.au</a></p> <p align="center">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: center;" align="center">Trinity Lutheran College is an equal opportunity employer</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
