<p><span style="font-size: small;">We are seeking an innovative and energetic educator who is qualified to lead and teach in our College in this permanent, full-time one-point coordinator position (with 0.2 FTE release).<br />&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">This position exists to help take forward the Catholic Life of Bethany College by further strengthening&nbsp; the partnership between the school and the local parishes and for engaging young people into responsible participation in life, mission and the work and the Catholic faith community through a range of initiative and activities, especially social justice outreach.&nbsp; The Youth Ministry and Student Leadership Coordinator will give leadership to the promotion of and preparation for World Youth Days, strengthening links with local parishes and identifying and working with the Student Leadership team in the College.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">This position involves a range of classes from Years 7 to 12 in Religious Education. Experience in teaching SORI and/or SORII up to HSC level will be a distinct advantage.&nbsp;Accreditation to teach RE in Sydney Catholic Schools is essential for this position.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">Bethany is a technology-rich school with a Newman Selective School stream. The ability to integrate technology into everyday learning and planning would be an advantage as is any credential in modifying curriculum to meet the needs of gifted and diverse learners from Years 7 to 12.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">Applicants are asked to complete the Application Form and append any supporting documentation or letters to this application.
