The role will also include bus driving duties for the College, which will generally be during school hours. However, on occasion the Maintenance, Bus and Grounds Officer may be responsible for College bus runs outside of school hours in the absence of other staff.</span> </span></span></p> <p><span><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">The successful applicant will have:&nbsp;</span> </span></span></p> <ul> <li> <p><span style="font-size: x-small;">Or be willing to obtain a child related Department of Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) employment screening</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size: x-small;">A heavy rigid (HR) licence, with driver accreditation</span></p> </li> <li> <p><span style="font-size: x-small;">A background in either maintenance, gardening or building</span></p> </li> <li><span style="font-size: x-small;">Appropriate experience, including WHS compliance</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: x-small;">Communication and interpersonal skills appropriate to a school setting</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: x-small;">Competent IT skills</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: x-small;">Experience in a school environment and a trade qualification is desirable but not essential.
