<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>SPECIFIC CRITERIA</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have an understanding of and commitment to facilitating a co- teaching model.</li> <li>Qualifications and experience in Special Education and Vision Impairment preferred.Possess good planning and organizational skills, knowledge of current diagnostic and educational practices as they apply to educating students with visual impairment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Working knowledge of compensatory skills and assistive technology related to the education of students who are visually impaired.</li> <li>Be able to be part of a collaborative professional learning team.</li> <li>Have a sound and contemporary knowledge in catering for a diverse range of learners in the classroom through varied teaching strategies and evidenced based pedagogical principles.</li> <li>Provide advice to teachers on matters related to specific disabilities and/or additional needs.</li> <li>Be able to provide a holistic approach as a case manager</li> </ul>
