<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The role of the School psychologist at St Lucy's School is to support the students of the school through the provision of assessment and therapeutic intervention, and to provide support to the staff and families of the school. &nbsp;</p> <p>The School psychologist works in partnership with other members of the St Lucy's Therapy Team, including the occupational therapists and speech pathologists, and liaises with external psychologists working with St Lucy's students.&nbsp;</p> <p>This position reports to the Head of Therapy&nbsp;and the Deputy Principal.&nbsp;</p> <p>The School psychologist is required to be a tertiary qualified, registered psychologist, demonstrating current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).&nbsp;It is preferable that the School psychologist is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).&nbsp;<br /> <br /> <strong>Key skills</strong>:&nbsp;the ability to conduct cognitive and educational assessments, and desirable to be trained in autism diagnostic assessments.</p> <p>A job description can be emailed upon request.
