<p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Leader of Finance and College Business Operations </strong>assists the Principal in providing quality Catholic education for students in their care specific responsibility to manage the financial and administrative functions of the collegeoversight the college site, liaise and work as a member of the college&rsquo;s senior leadership team, work with college&rsquo;s teaching and non-teaching staff, liaise and work with appropriate personnel from Catholic schools office Diocese of Broken Bay on issues of financial planning and management, college fees management, external statutory reporting, college facilities planning and maintenance and Work, Health and Safety. This is a new position for the college commencing in January 2018.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>College business and service improvement aligned to the College Strategic Plan and Annual College Improvement Plan</li> <li>Financial management</li> <li>Facilities management including Work, Health and Safety</li> <li>Administration and supervision of support staff</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support of Catholic ethos in the context of a Catholic College with an Edmund Rice Tradition.</li> <li>Professional qualifications in finance and/or administrative management.</li> <li>Ability to work independently, but also function as an effective team leader and team member.</li> <li>Demonstrated record of adopting a consultative and innovative approach in the delivery of accounting, finance, debtors and administrative management services to customers and a commitment to high service levels.</li> <li>Experience using and where required to learn new financial applications, software tools and the ability to use these skills to successfully structure, access and use data in a manner to support efficient decision making.</li> <li>Experience in identification and deployment of asset management procedures and processes.</li> <li>Practical experience in current Work, Health &amp; Safety requirements in line with latest legislation at state and national levels</li> <li>Demonstrated initiative, especially in relation to problem solving.</li> <li>Proven high level skills in written and oral communications.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in management and supervision of a multi-disciplined team such as, administrative staff, cleaning teams, suppliers and contractors.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Please send a letter addressed to the Principal addressing the essential criteria, a copy of your resume, a complete application package from CSO (available online) and the names of three referees to the CSO by the closing dates listed below.
