Calvary Kindergarten Morphett Vale is seeking a dynamic, passionate and highly-motivated preschool teacher to join our team from the beginning of Term Three (0.55 FTE). This is an excellent chance to join a friendly and dynamic team environment with favourable educator:child ratios and significant opportunities for professional development. **Responsibilities:** * Belonging to our community and supporting our distinctly Christian ethos * Developing and delivering curriculum based on centre philosophies whilst following the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard * Creating positive learning environments including responding to children's interests * Developing strategies to guide positive children's behaviour * Building strong and open communication with children, families and colleagues * Observing and recording children's learning and development using electronic portfolios * Ensuring the learning area is clean, hygienic and safe * Undertaking administrative tasks as required **You Will Need:** * Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) * Accreditation as a Christian Studies teacher in Lutheran schools, or a willingness to undertake * Experience working in a preschool setting * Fantastic organisational and teamwork skills * Well-developed written and verbal communication skills * A high level of computer literacy * HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate (includes asthma and anaphylaxis awareness training) * South Australian Teacher Registration * Responding to Abuse and Neglect training * A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and current early childhood education theory and practices **To apply: Submit a brief cover letter indicating your suitability and a current resume to the Director** director@calvarykindergarten.sa.edu.au
