The Community Engagement Manager is a Senior Leadership role within the College.** **Responsible to:** Principal and Senior Leadership Team Executive **Position type:** Full-time, permanent position 48 weeks per year **Anticipated Commencement Date:** 2 July 2018 **Qualifications, Certifications and Work-related Experience:** 1. Tertiary qualifications and/or experience relevant to the Key Responsibilities; 2. Ability to operate within a Christian context and framework; 3. Personal qualities to inspire, lead, manage and collaborate within an effective team environment/department; 4. Demonstrated competence and confidence as an effective communicator (spoken and written); 5. Demonstrated competence and confidence in using a personal computer and relevant software packages eg Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, email and the College Administration packages (TASS); 6. Understanding of, and/or previous experience in, educational settings, highly desirable; 7. Working with Children accreditation (Blue Card) or ability to obtain this accreditation. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Supervision of staff within the Community Engagement Department (comprising Advertising/Marketing Coordinator; Graphic Designer; Events Officer; Grace Academy Events and Digital Media Officer; Printery staff and Enrolments Officers); 2. Budget planning and management of the approved department budget; 3. Planning and advertising of the College and College events; 4. Ensuring media releases, advertisements, College communications conform to established protocols and expectations (encompassing ‘The Grace Way’ principles); 5. Positioning appropriate events within the school calendar at both campuses, then leading a team approach towards their implementation; 6. Overseeing the Enrolments Office and its staff; 7. Organisational Awareness: Demonstrated commitment to the central mission of an organisation. Where there is experience in an educational institution, evidence of clear support for the educational aims of the institution as the highest priority. 7.
