<p>The College is seeking to appoint a College Nurse to join the team with the primary responsibility to provide direct health care to students and oversee the management of the clinic. Applicants must be able to support the College’s Vision, Mission and Values, and have a high level of flexibility, patience, empathy and be open to engage in a variety of tasks and activities.<br /></p><p> Essential Criteria including Professional and Personal Attributes: </p><p>• Registered nursing qualifications with experience and ability to work with school aged children from ages 4 – 18 years of age. </p><p>• Current registration with AHPRA. </p><p>• Current CPR and first aid qualifications. </p><p>• Current working with children check clearance. </p><p>• Experience in management of anaphylaxis, asthma and allergy plans as well as their treatment. </p><p>• Proficiency in the use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel as well as database proficiency. </p><p>• High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff, parents and students. </p><p>• Warm, welcoming and friendly personality, ability to empathise. </p><p>• High level of confidentiality and privacy. </p><p>• Demonstrated initiative and strong problem-solving skills with an ability to set up and improve processes. </p><p>• Ability to make decisions and handle various situations in a professional, calm and mature manner. </p><p>• Attention to detail. </p><p>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as required. </p><p>• Be a committed Christian and active member of a church. </p><p>• Genuine passion to contribute to the vision and mission of Leppington Anglican College. </p><p>Full details of the position and how to apply can be found on the Leppington Anglican College website. </p><p> </p><p> </p>
