Are you a highly organised and interactive individual who enjoys being an Administration Assistant as part of an administrative team supporting a school? Your primary role will require you to provide support for Sattler Christian College as part of the office team, while working in a busy front office and liaising with other school staff, administration staff, parents and students.

<p><strong>The administration assistant will provide general administration and reception duties as part of a team of three. Working enrolments by tracking entries and exits to the school, working across departments and with other schools to assist in transfers, completing census reporting, student data files, campus tours and welcoming new families. Serving the students in the sick bay and managing medical alerts logs, providing first aid, greeting students and seeing them off at the end of the day. Monitor incoming communications via email, fax and telephone; help with organising deliveries in and out. </strong><br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br /> </p> <ul> <li>Maintain tidy sick-bay and front desk area, stocked with all required equipment and supplies.</li> <li>Assisting with internal and external communications including creation, maintenance and distribution, maintaining confidentiality as required.</li> <li>Proactively engaging prospective families and all new students, facilitating introductions, tours, information sharing and collection, assist in designing and marketing materials.</li> <li>Maintain complete student enrolment files and all data relating to entries, exits and transfers.</li> <li>Performing duties involving the inward and outward movement of deliveries, mail, keeping, copying, maintaining and retrieving records, straightforward data entry and retrieval.</li> <li>Attending to the needs of students and families as required, relating to them with a loving, caring and patient attitude, answering phone calls and greeting all visitors on arrival.</li> <li>Demonstrating the capacity to be an active team member and work collaboratively.</li> <li>Completing all student enrolments, census data, attendance logs, medical alerts</li> <li>Performing additional duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Selection criteria </strong><br /> <br /> <strong><em>Essential:</em></strong><br /> </p> <ul> <li>Experience in using technology including computers, online platforms and data management software including Adobe and Microsoft.</li> <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Outgoing, creative personality and desire to see families engage with Christian education.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Be polite, professional and use discretion as required, supporting leadership at the school.</li> <li>Be a committed Christian actively involved in your local church.</li> <li>Prove an ability to effectively model Christian values as expressed in the Policies and Procedures of NT Christian Schools and to give an authentic witness to those values.</li> <li>Demonstrate or be willing to develop, the ability to draw upon the beliefs articulated in the Policies and Procedures of NT Christian Schools to prepare an environment and culture of biblical perspective enhancing significant outcomes for students.</li> <li>Be pastorally committed to the creating an environment of care for nurturing students.</li> <li>Establish your abilities according to the requirements of the job as listed above.</li> <li>Hold appropriate experience and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position.</li> </ul>
