There are 40 staff and an enrolment of approximately 140 students. The school has small class sizes and features specialist facilities including a community library, STEM and food technology rooms. Every classroom has access to the Internet, PCs, laptops, iPads and SMART Boards. (IWBs). English is the second or third language for most students at the school, and the Arrernte language &amp; culture program is a key focus of the curriculum at LACS. Teachers work as members of a team in partnership with local Aboriginal people and Arrernte Assistant Teachers. Staff members live in close proximity to each other and the school.
