This position is key as the ‘Face of the College’ and first point of contact. </p><p><b>School Officer: Student Services and Administration - Key Duties/Responsibilities:</b></p><p>• Provide a safe and secure environment to all students, and have a strong personal commitment to uphold the Catholic Ethos and Mission of the College. </p><p>• Accurately manage student attendance records and reports, and communicate effectively with college staff and parents/guardians. </p><p>• Provide a professional and friendly first point of contact for students, families and visitors, including monitoring daily arrival and departures. </p><p>• Use a high level of initiative to receive, respond, direct and if necessary diffuse a range of enquires. </p><p>• Perform reception duties, including: filing, archiving, responding / directing incoming phone and email communication from college stakeholders. </p><p>• Coordinate the College’s incoming and outgoing mail including the collation and distribution of student reports, permission forms and other letters. </p><p>• Support College operations through managing school bells, sms push notifications and PA announcements. </p><p>• Collate and publish the College newsletter and other publications as required. </p><p>• Undertake administration area housekeeping and place orders for various supplies. </p><p>• Provide basic first aid / sick bay services. </p><p>• Liaise with the staff (day and boarding) to support College operations. </p><p>• Support the Administration Team with the delivery of service including major College events outside of regular hours (as required). </p><p>• Provide administration support to the College Leadership Team as required. </p><p>• Any other duties as directed by the Operations Manager or Principal. </p><p><b>Selection Criteria: </b></p><p>• Maintain a current Northern Territory Working with Children Check (Ochre Card). </p><p>• A demonstrated understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission. </p><p>• Holder of / willing to acquire: First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification. </p><p>• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva and SchoolZine as well as the capacity to learn the student management systems CES &amp; SEQTA. </p><p>• High level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate appropriately, effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds. </p><p>• High developed organisation and time management skills. </p><p>• High level of written and oral communication skills. </p><p>• Level of ICT literacy to undertake the responsibilities of the position. </p><p>• Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. </p><p>• Ability to work in accordance with college, system and jurisdiction policy, processes and legislation. </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
