<p>This is a 0.4FTE temporary position commencing Term 2, 2024 and concluding at the end of the school year. </p><p>We seek applicants who have a passion to encourage and engage young minds in a love of learning through a supportive and inclusive environment.</p><p><b>Primary Duties:</b></p><p>Provide in-class learning support for identified students with diverse learning needs (physical, sensory, socio-emotional, health and intellectual).</p><p>Provide small group withdrawal support for identified students, under the direction of the Diverse Learning Coordinator and classroom teachers.</p><p>Carry out a wide variety of tasks associated with classroom learning experiences (e.g. assisting teachers in preparing, implementing and supervising learning programs, activities and tasks).</p><p>Accompany students on excursions and other external activities when required.</p><p>Complete administrative duties including maintaining records and data entry.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><p>Certificate III or IV in Education Support or current tertiary study in education.<br /></p><p>Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team.</p>
