And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. – Matthew 28:19-20 I dream of a “missionary option”, that is, a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church’s customs, ways of doing things, times and schedules, language and structures can be suitably channelled for the evangelisation of today’s world rather than for her self preservation. </p><p>Pope Francis: Evangelii Gaudium para 27 </p><p>The Director of Mission and Evangelisation holds a key leadership role within the Diocese and Catholic community of Maitland-Newcastle. This position combines a passion for the Church’s mission, strategic vision, faith &amp; cultural leadership in addition to organisational and managerial skills to advance the mission of the Diocese its Agencies and Parishes to foster a vibrant community committed to evangelisation and living out the Gospel. </p><p>This position requires adaptability and a proactive approach as it transforms alongside organisational changes, ensuring alignment with newly established objectives and structures. </p><p>The incumbent commits to working within Work Health and Safety guidelines and Code of Conduct at all times whilst in the employ of the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
