Early Childhood Teacher

We have a rare opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced university qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our Early Learning Centre (ELC), on a temporary, part time basis (0.6FTE) covering for a teacher on parental leave, for an anticipated period of 12 months from June 2024.
<p>Temporary Part-Time Position – Parental Leave
</p><p>International Grammar School (IGS) is a vibrant, secular, coeducational school situated across five sites in Ultimo, Glebe and Kangaroo Valley. There are 1300 students from Preschool to Year 12 being educated in a unique bilingual environment.
</p><p>We have a rare opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced university qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our Early Learning Centre (ELC), on a temporary, part time basis (0.6FTE) covering for a teacher on parental leave, for an anticipated period of 12 months from June 2024.

</p><p>Essential criteria:
</p><p>● ACECQA recognised university qualification in Early Childhood Teaching
</p><p>● Current, active Teacher Accreditation with NESA
</p><p>● Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications
</p><p>● Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training
</p><p>● Thorough and demonstrated understanding of early education and care legislation and regulations including the EYLF and NQS
</p><p>● Knowledge and experience of child centred pedagogy such as project based learning and the Reggio Emilia approach
</p><p>● Demonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children and their families
</p><p>● Self-motivation and initiative
</p><p>● Proficient ICT skills
