St Dominic’s College, Kingswood is a Catholic school in the Blessed Edmund Rice tradition conducted by Edmund Rice Education Australia. Founded by the Christian Brothers in 1959, the College has a current enrolment of 1000 boys, Years 7 – 12. The mission of St Dominic's College is to create a caring environment where excellence in Education is evident within the Catholic tradition and the Spirit of Edmund Rice.

<p>The College is looking to appoint a highly motivated, suitably qualified Technological Applied Studies (TAS) Teacher with a commencement date at the beginning of Term 2, 2024 or to be negotiated with the College Principal. </p><p>We are seeking to appoint an innovative TAS Teacher with a passion and enthusiasm for teaching. The position involves face to face teaching of TAS to students across all Stages and work collaboratively within the department and across all year groups. A strong emphasis within the College is the development of a technologically rich environment and the position would suit an applicant who is able to work collaboratively within this domain.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>The successful applicant will be committed to the advancement of student learning and; </b></p><ul><li>Must have a working understanding of, and strong commitment to Catholic values, morals and faith in an Edmund Rice School;</li><li>Will be able to demonstrate excellence as a classroom practitioner </li><li>Will be able to demonstrate experience in differentiation of curriculum</li><li>Must have well developed, interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students in enhancing the quality of learning and development of young minds.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Highly Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrated passion for student-centred learning and a proven ability to effectively engage students.</li><li>Experience teaching Stage 6 Construction preferred.   </li><li>Evidence of excellent organisation and planning skills; must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities within given deadlines. </li><li>Sound knowledge of the unique learning needs of young men. </li><li>Commitment to being actively involved in and supportive of College extra-curricular activities.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Teachers at St Dominic’s College are employed under the NSW Catholic Schools (Teachers – Model B) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023 and may attract higher levels of renumeration. </p><p>The salary will be reflective of NESA accreditation level and teaching experience, with an estimated annual salary between $89 295 - $128 269. <br /></p><p>The College offers a variety of benefits for staff including: </p><ul><li>Teacher accreditation support and professional learning program. </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Counselling Service. </li><li>Annual influenza vaccinations provided by the College. </li><li>Catered weekly morning teas. </li><li>Catered staff development and networking days.</li><li>Free onsite parking.</li><li>Free street parking. </li><li>Free use of College gym. </li><li>College provided laptops. </li></ul><p>Applicants are encouraged to visit the College website www.stdominics.nsw.edu.au for further information about the College.
