</h4><p>Cedar College is a co-educational Christian school catering to nearly 900 students within a vibrant school community.
</p><p>The college is situated on a 14-acre property in the growing suburb of Northgate, South Australia, just 9km north-east of the Adelaide CBD.
</p><p>Established in 1997 as a ministry of CityReach Baptist Church, Cedar College is a distinctly Christian school with a growing reputation for providing a comprehensive education for students from Reception to Year 12.
</p><p>With the upcoming retirement of inaugural Principal, Mr Peter Thomson, after twenty-seven years of outstanding leadership, the Cedar College Board invites applications from dynamic educational leaders with a strong personal faith, a passion for the gospel, and a commitment to genuine Christian schooling. We are seeking a leader of people who is able to build upon the prevailing strong staff culture of spiritual, professional, and social unity and respect.
</p><p>The successful applicant will report to the College Board and will have:
</p><ul><li>A mature, personal, gospel focused Christian faith, godly character, and active involvement in an evangelical church;
</li><li>Appropriate tertiary qualifications, evidence of recent professional development, and a thorough knowledge of educational advances at all levels;
</li><li>Ability, commitment and discernment to lead with vision, integrity and wisdom in Christian schooling, and to build community;
</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
</li><li>An effective, passionate, and innovative approach to education;
</li><li>Strong organisational and managerial skills;
</li><li>Highly developed strategic planning abilities;
</li><li>Analytical and problem solving/conflict resolution skills; and
</li><li>Resilience, energy, and high capacity.
