The College is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager for a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will be an experienced Finance Manager with a minimum of an Accounting, Commerce or Business Degree and post qualification minimum of CPA or CA. Experience in financial systems, accounting and reporting as per the Australian Accounting Standards is also required .

The College was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1858 and is now under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. The College fosters creativity, discernment and leadership in the development of students to be courageous women of action. </p><p>The College is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager for a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will be an experienced Finance Manager with a minimum of an Accounting, Commerce or Business Degree and post qualification minimum of CPA or CA. Experience in financial systems, accounting and reporting as per the Australian Accounting Standards is also required . </p><p>The Role </p><p>Reporting to the Business Manager, the Finance Manager is pivotal in guiding, mentoring and supporting the Finance Team in their day-to-day functions as well as ensuring the College’s financial obligations and statutory functions are carried out in a professional and effective manner and in accordance with relevant policies and legislation. </p><p>Other requirements : </p><p>strong problem solving, negotiating, and influencing skills </p><p>excellent written and interpersonal communication skills </p><p>demonstrated management / financial reporting experience and working with/advising Senior Leadership </p><p>excellent documentation and presentation of financial modelling, including assumptions and data references </p><p>ability to lead business improvement projects, including new finance systems and processes, and improved reporting </p><p>How to apply: </p><p>Applications close by 4pm, Monday 15 April 2024 and should include the following: </p><p>Cover Letter </p><p>Resume which includes details of qualifications, relevant experience and the names and contact details of three referees </p><p>Child Protection Legislation requires the preferred applicants to be subject to employment screening.
