St Michael's Lutheran Primary School, Hahndorf is inviting applications from passionate teachers for a full time, fixed term contract position in our Beginning Learning Community (BLC). The successful teacher will work as part of the BLC team, but predominantly have responsibility for our of Mid-Year Reception intake students for Semester 2, 2024.

<p>St Michael&#39;s Lutheran Primary School is an inclusive, dynamic primary school located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in the village of Hahndorf.  We are seeking an educator for a fixed term contract in Semester 2, 2024, working in our Beginning Learning Community, predominantly with our single stream, Mid-Year Foundation intake class.  The successful candidate will be supported in the classroom by a student support officer.</p><p>St Michael&#39;s highly skilled teachers partner with parents and carers to create a culture that inspires every child.  We draw on a contemporary understanding about how young people learn and challenge each student through inquiry learning to explore and discover the world and their place in it.</p><p>Our beautiful campus and township provide a variety of immersive learning environments and experiences through which students develop intellectual, technological, physical and creative talents and their understanding of the world.  Our care for each other, the environment and broader community reflects deeply held Christian values that are at the heart of everything we do.</p><p>St Michael&#39;s is an IB school running multi-age classes throughout the school.  The successful candidate will work closely with their partner teachers to create a positive, innovative and inclusive learning environment for our BLC students.  In addition, they will demonstrate the ability to develop collaborative relationships with students, parents and staff.   A  knowledge of learning through play and investigation, Science of Reading and phonological awareness practices (O.G or Heggerty), and the UR Strong Friendology program or restorative practices would be looked upon favourably.  The &#39;right&#39; person for this position values and contributes to our community and personalises learning for students.  They value courage, curiosity, integrity and teamwork and they bring a hopeful and resilient attitude to their work.</p><p>Further information can be found in the Position Description.</p><p><br /></p>
