<p><i>MacKillop Education is a Catholic Special Assistance P-12 School that comprises of three school campuses: Geelong, Maidstone and Caulfield. The Maidstone Campus caters for children from grades 3-6, who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from mainstream education. The students referred to MacKillop have a history and/or ongoing experience of trauma and their needs are complex and diverse; self-regulation is difficult for our students, and this can result in challenging social and emotional behaviours. </i></p><p><b>This is an ongoing Generalist Teaching position with a Full-time 2-year Fixed term POL3 allowance, commencing April 2024 and based at the Maidstone Campus. </b></p><p><b>About the role: </b></p><p>The Education and Wellbeing Coordinator (EWC) will implement, in the classroom and across the programs a trauma-informed model of education that promotes unconditional positive regard for young people with complex and diverse needs.
