OSG is a values-based organisation with a compelling purpose, that prides itself on being an innovative, progressive, and supportive place to work. </p><h4>About the opportunity </h4><p>The District Principal is the pivotal position responsible for leading multiple campuses within your allocated district cluster. </p><p>Reporting to the Regional Principal and Regional Team Leader, the primary objective is to strategically and operationally lead Campus Principals to achieve high performance. The goal is to achieve the highest standards in Teaching and Learning, Student achievement, quality, compliance and governance with the vision, values and strategy of OneSchool Global. </p><p>This position will lead District 5 which includes Melton, Hamilton, Berwick, Bairnsdale, Bendigo, Launceston and Hobart and require extensive travel to visit each campus regularly. </p><p><i>*This role can be based anywhere across the VIC/TAS region* </i></p><h4>Your Responsibilities will Include: </h4><ul><li>Supporting, respecting, and reinforcing the School’s Ethos, Values and Guiding Principles In accordance with the School Improvement Plan, providing leadership in the delivery of the curriculum and the development of the modern learning culture to enhance teaching and learning. </li><li>Developing and using management systems to support and enhance student learning. Working closely with HR to ensure recruitment and contractual requirements are fulfilled and supporting each Head of Campus in the management of human resources i.e. recruitment, selection, appraisal, professional development. </li><li>Strengthening communication and relationships with each Head of Campus and between Heads of Campus within OneSchool Global. </li><li>Participating and contributing actively and positively in planning and strategic endeavours as part of the OneSchool Global Senior Education Leadership Team (SELT). </li><li>Working with Regional Principal to manage budget and expenditure of each Campus. </li><li>Engaging in teaching and learning opportunities with students. </li></ul><h4>About You </h4><p>As the District Principal you will have experience in an education leadership role managing multiple schools within a district. </p><p>You will have knowledge, experience and a positive inclination to the modern learning environment and learning techniques as well as demonstrated success as a school teacher, with a proven ability to understand and employ effective strategies for managing the challenges of the classroom.
