Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><p>The Learning Partner plays a significant role in providing subject matter expertise to support school leaders and teachers in building differentiated learning cultures, ensuring teaching quality, and student engagement and learning across CSBB schools. </p><p>The role focuses on building a cohesive system of support to improve outcomes for learners and their access to the curriculum as part of the Learning Improvement Program, with a focus on secondary literacy, numeracy and assessment. </p><p>This is a highly collaborative role within the Student Achievement Workstream to build school-level capability to enhance access and participation of 5-12 both primary and secondary students across CSBB schools, aiding in supporting the transition between stages. </p><p>This role is required to support strategic projects and programs across CSBB, applying subject matter expertise in curriculum, as well as providing key insights into educational improvement areas.</p><p>This is a permanent full-time position based at our office in Pennant Hills. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Works collaboratively with the Strategy Leads and other CSBB Learning Partners and Leads to provide leadership in the delivery of the Learning Improvement Program in CSBB Schools<br /></li><li>Monitors the development of Primary and Secondary Syllabuses and facilitates effective implementation<br /></li><li>Partners with school leaders to develop teacher capability in making curriculum adjustments, implementing programs that meet the needs of students and monitoring student progress<br /></li><li>Collaborates with school leaders and teachers to support innovation and improvement to ensure quality teaching and learning for learners<br /></li><li>Assesses school and system data with an evidence-informed approach to ensure that numeracy and literacy levels are continuously improving and directly correlate to improved student learning outcomes<br /></li><li>Supports school leadership in reviewing and analysing learning and teaching to ensure high quality teaching and learning of the curriculum<br /></li><li>Collaborates with others to develop and deliver high-quality evidence-based blended professional learning<br /></li><li>Engages in strategic initiatives and participate in key projects aligned to Towards 2025 as required</li></ul><p><b>About You</b></p><ul><li>Supportive of and can demonstrate an understanding and commitment to, the ethos of the Catholic faith in an educational context</li><li>Working understanding of NSW syllabus documents, with subject matter expertise in secondary Literacy and Numeracy<br /></li><li>Practical understanding of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, the Australian Professional Standard for Principals, the Australian Teacher Performance and Development Framework, and the Australian Charter for Professional Learning of Teachers and School Leaders and the National School Improvement Tool<br /></li><li>Extensive knowledge and deep understanding of effective pedagogy and assessment practices in secondary schools<br /></li><li>Has a solutions-focused mindset</li><li>Has sound knowledge and skill in the Microsoft suite of products<br /></li><li>Understands the connections between strategic goals and operational activities within Student Achievement, for each individual school and the impact on teaching and learning in each context<br /></li><li>Understanding of contemporary approaches to the design, delivery and evaluation of professional learning within a ‘standards’ informed environment<br /></li><li>Understands and appreciates performance growth and development theories and methodologies<br /></li><li>Applies project management and change management methodologies, and working in a continuous improvement and coaching culture to lead strategic reform and learning improvement</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications </b></p><ul><li>Highly skilled teacher with highly credible and innovative teaching practice equivalent
