The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning.</p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast, Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 45 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.</p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>This role is to build data sets, collate, organise and analyse various Student data sets with the view of providing insights and preparing reports for CSBB leaders. Key to the success of this role is organising internal and external data so it is available for School leadership to track Student outcomes. </p><p>This role is required to present data for senior leader review and prepare reports to help senior leaders make key strategic decisions. In addition, this role is also accountable for providing insights into data trends. </p><p>This role works closely with other functions of CSBB to support key strategic projects and programs across the wider system.</p><p>This is a permanent, full-time role based at Pennant Hills.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Gather data from a variety of internal and external data sources</li><li>Support the development of a student achievement measures framework to be used across the CSBB system</li><li>Provide insights and data trends as requested for the Workstream lead Student Achievement</li><li>Build database and data support for the management of student achievement data</li><li>Give input to support key projects and programs across CSBB</li><li>Manages an organised key student data and support data collection systems</li><li>Build reporting for leaders including regular reports and on request data snapshots</li><li>Assist to prepare briefing papers and business case documents to be used for senior leader decision making</li><li>Upholds a strict level of confidentiality</li><li>Maintains a database of specialised service providers and engages with them as requested in order to support the students in CSBB schools</li></ul><p><b>About You</b></p><ul><li>Supportive of, or can demonstrate an understanding and commitment to, the ethos of the Catholic faith in an educational context</li><li>Data insights and the ability to analyse complex data sets</li><li>Present data for senior leadership reporting</li><li>Understand student data sets and how to provide insights into data trends</li><li>Has a solutions-focused mindset</li><li>Strong organisational and multi-tasking ability</li><li>Displays a friendly and professional demeanour</li><li>Has advanced knowledge and skill in the Microsoft suite of products</li><li>Has an understanding (or capacity to gain an understanding) of the impact of compliance requirements on the work of the Student Enablement and Engagement team</li><li>Has the ability to organise small and large-scale data sets</li><li>Displays a professional aptitude to supporting the administration of complex student and family casework</li><li>Has a keen eye for detail to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications suitable for the receiving audience</li><li>Works with the customer in mind to serve their needs and requirements</li><li>Is energised by working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Is adaptive and responsive to change and can adapt to working under pressure and re-prioritising tasks</li><li>Can manage competing priorities and the sensitivities of others to deliver high quality work</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Relevant certification or tertiary qualification, and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and/or experience</li></ul><p><b>Benefits of Working with Us</b></p><ul><li>Competitive salary on offer</li><li>Free onsite parking or public transport close by</li><li>25% School Fee Discount for eligible employees</li><li>Annual leave loading and ex-gratia leave at Christmas time</li><li>Salary Packaging for eligible employees</li></ul><p><b>Application Process</b></p><p>Applications should include:</p><ul><li>A cover letter of no more than two pages addressing why you are interested in the role and addressing the criteria listed above</li><li>A current resume</li></ul><p>Applications should be sent directly to <b><u>careers&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au</u></b></p><p><b>Applications Close on Monday, April 22, 2024.</b></p><p><b>Enquiries</b></p><p>If you have any enquiries about this role, please email Malik at <b><u>careers&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au</u></b></p><p><i>Agencies, please note that unsolicited resumes for this position will not be considered.</i></p><p><i>Catholic Schools Broken Bay promotes a culture of safety and care for children and young people.
