We seek to foster a commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion to live life in such a way as to bring honour and glory to God, in staff and students alike. </p><h4>About the Role </h4><ul><li>Teach Home Economics and other classes across Years 7-12 (with ability to teach Health &amp; Physical Education an advantage) </li><li>Work among a growing team of committed Christian teachers, supported by teaching colleagues and school administration staff at our South Plympton Campus. </li><li>Create a warm and caring learning environment in the classroom. </li><li>Provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for students. </li><li>Work in collaboration with other staff to ensure a distinctive Christian education by motivating, inspiring and aligning practice with the College Vision, Mission and Values. </li></ul><p>For further information regarding the position, please view the full position description available on our website at <a href="https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment" rel="nofollow">https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment</a> </p><h4>About You </h4><ul><li>A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord. </li><li>Demonstrated passion for Biblically based Christian education. </li><li>An appropriate qualification in Teacher Education. </li><li>Demonstrated passion and ability to teach students across Years 7-12. </li><li>Ability to teach Home Economics, with the ability to also teach Health &amp; Physical Education as an advantage. </li><li>A demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential, catering for students with a range of learning abilities. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with staff, parents and students. </li><li>Demonstrated ability in problem solving, flexibility, priority setting and time management. </li><li>Current Teachers’ Registration, valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC and First Aid certification. </li></ul><h4>What We Offer </h4><p>At Emmaus Christian College, we value our employees beyond the workplace.
