Benefits &amp; Rewards </p><p><b>Stronger connections today | Inspired people tomorrow <br /><br /></b></p><p><b>About the role -</b> As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, in collaboration with students, parents/caregivers, teachers, leaders and allied health professionals, you will support students across the full range of abilities and needs, to meet specific learning needs. </p><p>In particular you will: </p><ul><li>Design and implement inclusive and effective teaching and learning strategies to engage and improve education outcomes of supported students </li><li>Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy </li><li>Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning </li><li>Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school </li><li>Proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes aligned to The Alice Springs (Mparntwe) goals for young Australians </li><li>Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching. <br /><br /></li></ul><p><b>About you -</b> To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience, as well as: </p><ul><li>Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum </li><li>Commitment to child safety </li><li>Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Proven organisational skills </li><li>Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes </li><li>Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement. <br /><br /></li></ul><p>At BCE our teachers are required to: </p><ul><li>Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and </li><li>Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment. </li><li>Have a commitment to Safeguarding <br /><br /></li></ul><p><b>About our school: </b>Holy Spirit College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school located in the rapidly developing suburb of Fitzgibbon in North Brisbane, approximately 15km from Brisbane City. The College opened in January 2022 with 96 Year 7 students and will increase by one year level each year until it reaches Year 12.
