<p><b>Education </b></p><p><b>Service Design &amp; Delivery </b></p><p><b>Engagement &amp; Wellbeing Support Services </b></p><p><b>Flexible Education </b></p><p><b>Classroom Teacher - Hospital School </b></p><p><b>Teacher Level (EDU) </b></p><p><b>Salary Range</b>: $84,978 - $121,038 (PN: 05886) </p><p><b>This position will support students at the Hospital School, located at the Canberra Hospital School by: </b></p><ul><li>Developing learning experiences through inquiry-based learning, utilising creative pedagogical and differentiated learning approaches to support engagement for all children and young people (P-12). </li><li>Working with families and home schools to keep children and young people connected to their learning. </li><li>Working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop positive and productive relationships with children and young people, working in an inclusive and trauma informed way. </li><li>Establishing quality partnerships with the Canberra Hospital staff and community to enhance the learning environment and provide an inclusive culture for all students from a wide range of diverse ages, backgrounds and health needs. </li><li>Engaging in cross campus collaborations with the broader Flexible Education Team and support the delivery of education in other programs as required. </li></ul><p><b>Eligibility/Other Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>A minimum of 4 years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification. </li><li>Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or eligibility to obtain). </li><li>Current registration issued by Access Canberra under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.</li></ul><p><b>Notes: </b>This is a temporary position available immediately for 12 months with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
