<p><b>Education </b></p><p><b>Service Design &amp; Delivery </b></p><p><b>Engagement &amp; Wellbeing Support Services </b></p><p><b>Flexible Education </b></p><p><b>Classroom Teacher - Muliyan </b></p><p><b>Teacher Level (EDU) </b></p><p><b>Salary Range:</b> $84,978 - $121,038 (PN: 46289) </p><p><b>This position will support students in the Muliyan Program, years 7-10 by: </b></p><ul><li>Developing personalised learning programs, utilising creative pedagogical and differentiated learning approaches to supports high engagement and high expectations for all students </li><li>Supporting the delivery of general education programs (Literacy/Numeracy) as required </li><li>Working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop positive and productive relationships with young people, working in an inclusive and trauma informed way </li><li>Establishing quality partnerships with parents and the community to enhance the learning environment and provide an inclusive culture for all students from a wide range of diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students </li><li>Working across sites within Flexible Education as required and engage in cross campus collaborations with the broader Flexible Education Team </li></ul><p><b>Eligibility/Other Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>A minimum of 4 years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification. </li><li>Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or eligibility to obtain). </li><li>Current registration issued by Access Canberra under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011. </li></ul><p><b>Notes: </b>This is a temporary position available immediately for 12 months with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
