Chevalier College is seeking a temporary, full-time teacher of Studies of Religion and Y7-10 English for Terms 2, 3 and 4 2024.

As such, they are required to: </p><ul><li>support and assist the mission of Catholic education in the way of Jules Chevalier and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC). </li><li>see themselves as learners and be committed to ongoing professional learning. </li><li>work collaboratively with other teachers to design learning experiences where students exercise choice to demonstrate knowledge and understanding. </li><li>enhance social skills and nurture the growth of enterprise skills including learner agency, self-regulated learning, critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration for each student. </li><li>use summative data and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform ‘next steps’ for key learning outcomes. </li><li>demonstrate deep understanding of curriculum which informs subject disciplinary knowledge. </li><li>use digital technology as an enabler and accelerator for student and teacher learning. </li><li>regularly provide students with feedback as part of the teaching and learning cycle. </li><li>be open to growth and development through professional learning experiences which include classroom observations, practice analysis conversations and input from Leaders of Learning.</li><li>know and apply New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) guidelines. </li></ul><p><b>Other </b></p><ul><li>Salary and conditions will be as per the NSW Catholic Independent Schools (Teachers – Model B) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023.<br /></li><li>This is a child-related position.
