Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga are seeking a Permanent Part-Time People and Culture Officer to join their team.

<p><b>People and Culture Officer </b></p><p>Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) assists 29 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools located throughout Regional NSW, to maximise student learning, growth and development. </p><p>CEDWW staff are responsible for providing on-going operational guidance and administrative assistance across the areas of Learning and Teaching, Student Wellbeing and Diverse Learning, Evangelisation and Religious Education, School and System Improvement, Finance and Resources, Information and Communication Technologies and People and Culture services. </p><p>To find out more about the Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga, click <a href="https://ww.catholic.edu.au/" rel="nofollow"><b>here.</b></a> </p><p><b>What we can offer: </b></p><ul><li>Permanent Part-Time Position </li><li>0.5 FTE 17.5hrs/week </li><li>5 days of additional discretionary leave on top of your annual leave </li><li>Discounted Bupa Health insurance </li><li>Annual Leave loading of 17.5% </li><li>Salary Packaging through Maxxia </li><li>Salary: Grade 3 $28, 383.22 to $34, 669.76 base (part-time equivalent) excluding superannuation (dependent upon experience and qualifications) </li><li>Commencing as soon as possible or by mutual agreement </li></ul><p><b>Primary Purpose of the Position: </b></p><p>This position is responsible for supporting the People and Culture team by providing accurate and timely industrial advice to all employees throughout their employment lifecycle through partnerships with 24 Primary Schools, 5 Secondary Schools, 2 Boarding Houses, and the central office. The People and Culture Administrator will focus on working with the People and Culture team to support all facets while strictly adhering to confidentiality. </p><p><b>Catholic Identity and Mission </b></p><p>As an employee with CEDWW, it is expected that in this role, you will demonstrate a commitment to the mission and vision of Catholic Education. </p><p><b>Work Health and Safety </b></p><p>The Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) has a duty of care under Work Health and Safety Legislation to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of workers. This includes requirements to eliminate or minimise risks to health and safety. The role of the worker is to ensure that while at work, they take reasonable care of themselves and do not do anything that would affect the health and safety of others at work. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities </b></p><ul><li>Provide quality customer service and effective administrative support for the functional areas of the division, including payroll, recruitment, generalist human resources activities, projects, workplace relations and work health and safety. </li><li>Undertake administrative duties associated with the position, including but not limited to data entry, record and system maintenance, drafting correspondence, documentation, travel arrangements, purchase requisitions, scanning and filing documents and credit card reconciliation. </li><li>Assist with all People and Culture administrative duties associated with projects and reporting. </li><li>Provide support for general enquiries related to an employee life cycle </li><li>Take minutes from meetings when required </li><li>Prepare correspondence, arrange meetings and process confidential reports and documents. </li></ul><p><b>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION </b></p><p><b>Qualifications, Licences and Competencies </b></p><ul><li>Qualification HR, ER or related field is desirable </li><li>Strong People and Culture administration is highly desirable </li><li>A high level of professionalism and understanding of confidentiality </li><li>Current Driver’s Licence. </li><li>Current Working With Children Check </li><li>National Criminal History Check </li><li>If you are applying for this position you must complete a Pre-Employment Declaration as part of CEDWW Recruitment requirements.
