<p>This position requires the capacity to teach within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme and the Australian Curriculum. Working collaboratively with year level teams and single subject teachers will be central to the role in the Primary School. </p><p>The teacher’s priority is to ensure that learning and teaching encourages student engagement and is carried out within the context of the Mission, Vision and Values of Concordia, including the Christian foundations of the College. Demonstrated ability to collaboratively design and implement authentic concept driven units of work which encourage inquiry are essential to this position. The teacher will encourage a positive and interesting learning environment which supports students to flourish and extend themselves. </p><p>The successful applicant will be employed to work as a Classroom teacher taking responsibility for the provision of the Year 5 / 6 learning program, whilst working collaboratively with other staff. Teachers need to demonstrate their understanding and ability to ensure that student’s learning needs are catered for within the classroom.
