<p>Wenona is a proud leader in digital learning in Education and is seeking an informed, enthusiastic and experienced educator committed to leading the integration of digital technologies across all stages K-12. The role is responsible for teaching and implementing digital pedagogies to support teachers in their use of technology in the classrooms to enable students to become creative, productive and positive users of technology. </p><h4>The Position </h4><p>The Digital Learning Leader plays an important role, working closely with various stakeholders to increase the adoption of new technology within the classroom. This role focuses on teaching and engaging in the curriculum, by providing informative eLearning support to teachers and students. The Digital Learning Leader will work closely and collaboratively with the Heads of Department, Deputy Principal (Academics) as well as the Director of ICT. </p><h5>Key priorities for the role include: </h5><ul><li>Build rapport with stakeholders to identify learning requirements and enhance digital learning by improving practices. </li><li>Facilitating the professional learning of all staff and engaging with contemporary research to drive the future direction of the school’s teaching and learning framework. </li><li>Understand and drive continual integration of AI to enhance classroom learning and support staff in their purposeful use of technology. </li><li>Collaborate with various Heads of Department in matters related to the curriculum development and leadership. </li><li>Maximise the use and capacity of the School’s Learning Management System (Canvas) and Office 365 across the School. </li></ul><p>This is a permanent full-time position. </p><p>This role requires the successful applicant to be NESA accredited, hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check and to be fully COVID vaccinated. </p><p>Wenona supports both academic and professional services staff to develop their expertise through initiatives such as Wenona Teaching Fellowships, Seeding Grants and ongoing outstanding professional learning that develops and supports career development into the future. </p><p><a href="https://www.wenona.nsw.edu.au/ArticleDocuments/221/Role%20Description%20-%20Digital%20Learning%20Leader.pdf.aspx?OverrideExpiry&#61;Y" rel="nofollow">For more details about the role and requirements, please refer to the attached role description.</a> </p><h4>About You </h4><p>To be successful in this role, you will have a teaching background, and an extensive knowledge of the role technology plays in curriculum development, explicit teaching and authentic pedagogy. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to guide staff and students through online systems.
