Beautiful National Parks including Towarri, Burning Mountain Reserve, and Barrington Tops provide abundant wildlife, while Lake Glenbawn hosts superb freshwater fishing and water sport opportunities. </p><p>The Role </p><p>The purpose of the Cleaning Supervisor position is to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of cleaning services within the Newcastle Anglican workplace. The role will involve managing schedules, training staff, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Cleaning Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. </p><p>Qualifications and Experience: </p><p>Minimum of 1 year supervisory or management experience in the cleaning industry </p><p>Current drivers licence </p><p>A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children) </p><p>National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes). </p><p>Strong knowledge and understanding of cleaning principals, cleaning equipment and machinery </p><p>Demonstrated experience leading and supporting a team </p><p>Demonstrated commitment and ability to maintain confidentiality and accountability </p><p>Proven ability to lead and motivate a team </p><p>Thorough understanding of safe chemical use and WHS in the workplace </p><p>Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to cleaning operations </p><p>High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness </p><p>Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively </p><p>Effective communication skills, both verbal and written </p><p>The successful applicant will be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our SGS team.
