About the Role A Coordinator is an excellent role model for other teachers, especially in the areas of curriculum development and teaching and learning. They contribute to the wellbeing of staff, students and the wider community and offer opportunities for staff professional development which builds the capacity of staff to contribute to school-wide initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will engage with the community and collaborate with all stakeholders to help achieve the vision and mission of the school.   Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Work as a member of the Leadership Team to implement professional dialogue within the school that is informed by feedback, analysis of current research and practice to improve the educational outcomes of students. Work in a collegiate way with the leadership team to develop whole school policies in a range of areas.</li> <li>Support in the implementation and evaluation of high-quality teaching and learning initiatives based on effective assessment and data analysis.</li> <li>Know and support all staff in developing their teaching capacity, through the use of effective assessment and data analysis.</li> <li>Support a positive culture of challenge by identifying self as a learner, keeping abreast of best practice, and applying the necessary skills to implement and enact change both individually and collaboratively.</li> <li>Work as a member of the Leadership Team to support a culture of inclusion and high expectations for all.</li> <li>A Coordinator in a Catholic school will help manage and lead innovation and change to ensure the school’s vision and strategic plan are put into action and that goals and intentions are realised.
