<p><i>Salesian College Sunbury is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in the tradition of St John Bosco. Our vision embodies our commitment to Community, Learning, Excellence and Faith. </i></p><p>We are seeking an experienced social worker to: </p><ul><li>provide instructional and behavioural support to behaviourally challenging students at Salesian College Sunbury (the College) </li><li>To support the skill acquisition of appropriate skills and behaviours to assist young people succeed in life through the delivery of targeted learning programs </li><li>To inform practice through collecting and analysing behavioural data, and </li><li>To role model, at all times, the Salesian ethos through presence to the young people and staff at our College. </li></ul><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate: </p><ul><li>previous experience (preferably in a school or institutional setting), effectively implementing behavioural interventionist strategies to support diverse young people and their families </li><li>at least five years’ work experience supporting children with additional needs </li><li>willingness to gain or currently hold a minimum Graduate Certificate in Behaviour Intervention or similar qualification, and </li><li>possess (or can obtain) a current Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Check. </li><li>The successful candidate will exemplify our ethos and enjoy working collaboratively with our Student Wellness and Learning Diversity Teams to contribute to the social, emotional and psychological health of our students. </li></ul><p><b>My Salesian Passport </b></p><p>In 2024, we&#39;ve made an exciting new shift to a vertical curriculum.
